BATSE Occultation Analysis Tools -- LIMB

Plots rising and setting limbs +/- 10 seconds (projections of the Earth) for a user selected source on a user specfied TJD. It also plots all sources in the source catalog in the user specified plot region.

Choose Source name, Date in TJD, RA range in degrees, DEC range in degree, and view mode.

This source name will be centered on the plot.
TJD you want to look at
in degrees - plot x-range will be user specified source's RA +/- xrange
in degrees - plot y-range will be user specified source's DEC +/- yrange

Note: In resulting plot, each symbol shows following information.

Solid lines: Rising limbs
Dotted lines:Setting limbs
Dashed lines:Galactic Plane
Beta:The angle out of orbital plane for the spacecraft to the source. The Earth occultation data is available if this absolute value is less than 70 degrees.
